Offices – Abandoned

As a followup to yesterday’s post, this is one of many, many long corridors of offices in an old Fisher Body factory building (1945-1988). Below ground – no windows. The building gave workers no reason to leave the premises. There was a cafeteria, infirmary, a doctor/nurse, break time area, small items “store”, etc. You didn’t leave work until the shift whistle blew.

Studio #307

This old building houses my studio on the third floor – #307.  The original building dates to 1850 with significant additions in 1856, 1884, and 1888.  The ballroom (arched windows) was added in 1929.
